- Lodge data: Property name, location, suite count, package details, pricing configurations, season settings, and channel information that you input into Terrain
- Usage data: Pages visited, features used, login timestamps, and session duration
- Payment information: Subscription and billing data processed by our payment provider, Paddle. We do not store card details directly
2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the Terrain Service
- Personalise your dashboard and recommendations based on your lodge configuration
- Send account-related emails including trial reminders and subscription notifications
- Process subscription payments through Paddle
- Respond to support requests
- Monitor and analyse usage to improve the platform
We do not sell your personal data or lodge operational data to any third party.
3. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored in a secure PostgreSQL database hosted on enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure. All data is transmitted over HTTPS encryption. Passwords are hashed using industry-standard bcrypt encryption and are never stored in plain text.
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
4. Your Lodge Data is Private
Your property details, package pricing, revenue figures, and operational data are completely private to your account. This information is never:
- Shared with other Terrain users or lodge operators
- Sold to third parties
- Used for advertising purposes
- Disclosed to competitors
We may use fully anonymised and aggregated data (with no individual lodge identifiable) to generate industry benchmarks and improve our recommendation algorithms.
5. Cookies
Terrain uses a single authentication cookie ("terrain_token") to keep you logged in. This cookie is essential for the Service to function and cannot be disabled. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.
6. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Paddle — payment processing and subscription management. Subject to Paddle's privacy policy.
- Cloud Infrastructure Provider — enterprise-grade hosting and infrastructure services.
7. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data remains accessible for 30 days before permanent deletion. You may request immediate deletion of your account data by contacting us at info@techsoftnexa.com.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Export your lodge configuration data
